Each field technician uses a Pocket PC PDA to send job information – description, materials, time – to the office as soon as a job is completed. The office can send new or changed jobs directly to the PDA – no more interruptions or costly mobile phone bills (data transfer costs about $0.03). If they need to discuss a job, the technician sends a photo or video; Glenco's clients love this. Glenco's management systems were already ahead of most contractors.
