Overview

ConnectiX is a wireless software application designed to work on the latest wireless enabled handheld Pocket PCs. It provides mobile staff with 24/7 anywhere access to all the critical sales and service details; such as customer records and notes. Enabling field sales and service staff with access to core business functionality previously available only back at base. One of the 1st wireless applications in the world to be developed on the .Net framework, ConnectiX is .Net connected premium and Windows Mobile certified. ConnectiX is certified and optimised for all wireless networks including GPRS, 3G and Wi-fi.

The ConnectiX software provides to the business customer all of business advantage, breaking new ground, expanding user horizons, new service delivery, use of new technology. The real innovation comes in its use of the new Microsoft . Net development platform including the compact framework for use in field devices to connect field force workers back to the management and data systems they need to deliver service to the customer at his premise. The architecture makes possible today mobile use of the internet as the business network to extend the office LAN beyond the boundaries of the office to the 40% of business workers who deal with the customer proving customer service in a meaningful and immediate way because their information is not second hand thus eliminating errors, duplication, while providing greater customer service levels. The innovation comes in the convergence of IT & T, today and not tomorrow by brokering the until recently disparate fields of Information Technology and the Telecommunication platforms that can now provide wireless public access, broadband , mobile data transmission. The mobile phone is the most widely used tool in the history of mankind, which now links the IT back end to the field worker, using the worlds greatest machine the Internet. The innovation can be summarized by taking our guiding company maxim " it can be done". The evidence goes from being the first in Australia to deliver a direct Internet connection to the public networks, to using the .Net Platform as the software platform to build the ConnectiX Solution, through to deploying it immediately with real early adopter customers to demonstrate rather than develop in the traditional - "wait and see" approach, software that the user can attribute it produces the so long sort outcome of convergence. There is no killer wireless application. It is in reality delivering in the simplest system mobile use of the internet as a network to provide field workers connectivity to the home office.

A basic philosophy of WirelessIP is its pride in commercial deployment of its software, using the feedback from real customers, to provide further enhancements in its ConnectiX product roadmap, so that at all times the software product remains practical and providing productivity gains which in turn provide short payback periods and acceptable ROI's on the ConnectiX software investment. The customer list has been developed to provide the appropriate mix of vertical market applications of the overall CRM, Field Service, and Sales / Purchase order software required in the field. The ConnectiX Product can be deployed within a week. It's architecture reduces long integration time and costs, which were prevalent in the early days of Wireless, and the product is extensible so that a customer with a field force of 40 people can deploy it for say 20 users, gain the savings while introducing into the company's business systems, and then extend its use further after the users see the benefits in the way they conduct their business. We have customers who start with sales orders, then move to CRM, and then say that their post sale support and service should also be extended to the field by mobility. In this context the ConnectiX Product can be SMB or Enterprise (it is scalable), it has passed the highest mobility accreditation from Microsoft and Telco’s; it has a reference customer base that is growing by word of mouth. Perhaps the best testament to its technical competence is its Microsoft award profile - from 2002, through 2003 WirelessIP won Microsoft Australasia's top innovation, ISV, and overall Microsoft Partner of the year award. In summary WirelessIP performance criteria speaks for itself; it has won awards, has customer references, and simply made it happen which has caused it to beget more business.
